Last year, a Christmas raffle was again organised for all employees of the Dettendorf Group. All colleagues from 13 branches had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets, win great prizes and thus donate to the good cause.

The Jarosz family was finally chosen from numerous suggestions, all of which came from the staff. Adam Jarosz is a professional driver at Dettendorfer Polska. He needs the money for his sick three-year-old son Maciej.

After birth, he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus (water head) with restricted water supply to the brain, as well as hearing loss, a heart defect and problems with muscle tone. His eyesight has also deteriorated over the last two years.

Since his birth, Maciej has needed constant rehabilitation and recurrent visits to specialists and therapists of all kinds. The trips are very expensive and there is not enough help from the Polish state.

Fortunately, an amount of 2,010 euros was collected by the entire circle of colleagues by the beginning of the year. It is a good tradition that the management supports this collection, so they added another 1,500 euros on top, so that Adam Jarosz could be presented with a cheque for a total of 3,500 euros last Tuesday, 1 February 2022.
